Terms of Service

Last updated June 2, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Photo Verified iOS app. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What the app does

Photo Verified helps you take and format a photo to match the published requirements for supported passport, visa, and ID documents. All processing happens on your device.

No guarantee of acceptance

We do our best to encode each document's official size, head-position, and background requirements, and the app shows you a compliance check. However, we cannot and do not guarantee that any photo will be accepted by a passport office, embassy, consulate, government department, or any other authority. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of that authority, and requirements can change. The compliance check is guidance, not a guarantee. You are responsible for reviewing the final photo before submitting it.

Purchase and pricing

Photo Verified offers a single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited photo exports — no subscription. The price is shown in the app and set by Apple's pricing tiers for your region. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID and, where enabled, available to your Family Sharing group at no extra cost.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. You can restore a prior purchase on a new device with the same Apple ID using "Restore Purchases" in the app's settings.

Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple, and so are all refunds. We cannot issue refunds directly. To request one, use reportaproblem.apple.com or your App Store purchase history. When Apple grants a refund, your unlock is removed and the app returns to its free state.

Acceptable use

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content are owned by us and protected by copyright. The photos you create are yours.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for costs arising from a photo being rejected by any authority, including re-application fees, travel costs, or appointment fees. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
